Membership is open to Social Entrepreneurs who wish to contribute to defining Social Entrepreneurship formally as a new business sector with its own business regulatory framework.
Members will participate in policy discussions events.
Members will also become part of the global Social Entrepreneurship society through our affiliation to global Social Entrepreneurship Foundations.
Members may apply for one of our Social Entrepreneurship development programmes.
Members who do not join any specific programme will receive a once off coaching session and have access to our ask-a-mentor facility anytime.

The following Social Entrepreneurship development programmes are offered.

Customized for village communities in privately owned land and communal land.

Customized for urban areas including Suburbs, Townships, and Informal Settlements

Designed to develop and support young women to be leaders in their communities, independent and respected Social Entrepreneurs.

Must be a registered business.
Must have been operating for at least 1 year.
Must be able to demonstrate how it is contributing towards community development.
Must be able to demonstrate how it is generating income.
Must have owner or manager working on the business full time.
Support required must be knowledge and skills development, not only funding.
Priority will be given to businesses operating in a village or rural area.
Must be willing to collaborate with other social entrepreneurs where possible.
Young women committed to social entrepreneurship and self-development.

Make a donation of your choice.
You will receive confirmation of acceptance into a programme.
You will receive a receipt of your donation if required.

SASEF is a self-funded organisation which also relies on donations and sponsorships.
Most of us have our roots in a village. The future economy of South Africa lies in developing business in our villages. Help us support village enterprises to create income streams and convenience in our villages.
Your donation will help equip villagers with necessary business skills, understanding the ecosystem and creating enterprises which not only generate income locally, but contribute to creating an economy owned by villagers themselves. We assist village enterprises develop small projects into full businesses.
Donate from as little as R50 to as much as you can afford, as often as possible to ensure more village entrepreneurs are supported. Receipts for donations will be issued on request.
SASEF commits to publishing funds utilisation reports annually.
